Happy Hump Day!

Gobble, gobble!  This was our gorgeous turkey this year.  This was after my husband smoked it in the smoker for like seven hours!  It was soo good this year.  We still have leftovers.  Tomorrow I will post pictures of the sweet potato casserole and the green bean corn casserole.  I will include recipes for both as well.

I am still doing laundry.  I have two loads to do today and I hope I can finish them today as well.  I really hate doing laundry.  I don't mind putting them in the wash, but when it's time to fold and put them away, I just hate it.  Luckily, my daughter loves helping me put clothes in the washer and dryer.. and she even loves helping me separate the clothes as well.  Now if only I can teach her to put the clothes inside out and to fold them and put them on hangers and put them away.  Ahh, all in good time, I suppose.

Tonight for dinner will be.. leftovers.  Surprise, surprise.  Were you expecting anything less?  I think I'll turn the turkey into a turkey pot pie for dinner.  Not sure yet.  The only that really sucks is that there are no more green bean corn casserole left.  That and the sweet potatoes were the first to finish this year.  The stuffing was awful in my opinion.  But I think next year I'll just make my own stuffing.  We just did a lot of cheater methods for meals this year because of the two little kids.

Happy Hump Day!
