Over the weekend I made a birthday card for my husband's aunt whose birthday is this weekend coming up. Since she doesn't live here, I made her a card to mail off. It's a simple yet cute card that took me two days to finish. The first day I just cut every thing up and the second day I just assembled it while my daughter and husband were in the backyard while my son was sleeping. I used my Stampin' Up Strawberry Slush paper and ink pad, I also used the Stampin' Up Petite Petals punch to punch out the three flowers. The sentiment is from the Sale a Bration from Stampin' Up as well. For the background I used the Seeing Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder to give the card a different look.
This week I need to finish working on A's order. I'm almost done with it, I just need to do some last minute things to it. But I should finish it by next week when she wanted it. I really enjoyed making the goodie boxes and the teabag holders. It was so much fun. I hope I can do it again for other people.
I don't know what is going on with my daughter. But she slept easily last night but then she woke up three times last night. I barely got any sleep last night. I finally fell asleep at 9:00pm and then at 11:45pm she woke up. I finally made it back to my room at 12:15am after she fell asleep. Then she woke up again at 2:30am, and I made it back to my room at 2:45am. Finally she woke up at 4:05am and my husband just said to bring her in our room to sleep since it was almost 5am. I don't know how she's not so tired and I don't know why she keeps fighting sleep when it is time for naps and bed time.
