Yesterday we went to Petapalooza with our kids but left our dog at home. I just didn't know how it would turn out taking her and the two kids. But we had fun. We saw lots of dogs and I saw a few birds, too. I am very passionate about animals, especially dogs, most importantly, chihuahuas. I have always had an obsession and passion for dogs, especially chihuahuas. So it always makes me happy when we go to Petapalooza. We used to go every year but then we had kids and stopped for a couple of years.
We saw this one family who had four chihuahuas and they all had on these snazzy outfits and sunglasses! I fell in love and had to take a picture to post on here. They (the dogs) kind of reminded me of my dog. She is so laidback that she doesn't care if I put her in clothes, shoes, sunglasses, whatever. I ran into a lady who had a dog that looked like mine and she was looking for a girlfriend for her dog. Next year we will bring our dog again. The only part that wasn't fun was the long walk from where it was held at and where we parked. It's definitely not easy with kids. Next year we plan to park closer to the event.
I made a card yesterday for my husband's aunt. I'm almost done with it so we can mail it off this week since her birthday is this weekend coming up. The month of May will be my busiest month as far as crafting goes. I have to make four Mother's Day cards, a birthday card, and a wedding card. In June I just have one birthday card to make and just one birthday card for the month of July. Then I won't have to make a birthday card until September. I like keeping busy though, makes the days go by fast.
Today is my son's first birthday! I can't believe he's one. Time flew by that's for sure. Last year at this time I was in the hospital giving birth to him and one of the nurses was giving me a hard time because I kept throwing up after I drank water cause I was so thirsty. It is definitely not fun when the anethesia wears off.
