Birthday dinner cancelled

Last night I had planned to make my husband Enchilada Stuffed Shells for dinner.  Unfortunately that did not happen.  My mother called me to let me know she was in town and wanted to go out to dinner with all of us.  So, I decided that I will make them tonight instead.  My mother doesn't live here so it's always nice to see her when she comes out here.  The next time we go visit her will be in the summer.  She comes out here once a month so we go out to dinner when she does come here.  It just would have been a little nice to know she was going to be here at least a week in advance so I could have planned that instead of taking stuff out to make dinner and then having to put it all away again.

I have been busy working on my customer A's order for the past couple of days.  I have all of the teabag boxes done.  I am now working on the goodie boxes.  I have almost all of them assembled.  All that is left for me to do is put the images on them and put the belly band around it and put a flower on top of the box.  After I am done with that, I can take pictures of both products and post it on here.  But I am happy that I am almost done.  I have a week and a half to go to finish them and give it to her.  I hope I can get more people to order the goodie boxes cause they are seriously so much fun to make!  

This weekend is my son's first birthday party.  We are going to smoke some ribs and I think my husband wants me to make some coleslaw to go with it.  I will post a picture of the coleslaw I make and even the recipe because it is pretty darn good coleslaw.  It's not too watery and it's not too sweet either.  It is actually the perfect consistency of what coleslaw should be.

I have also been compiling a list of all the images I can cut out to put on the goodie boxes.  One of our friends has been helping me tell people about the goodie boxes since she knows people who do parties and those goodie boxes would be an excellent touch.  She said that having a list of all the images for the boxes might help people get a better idea of what they want on their goodie box.  So I have been making a list for her.
