It's Easter today. I didn't take my kids to go see the Easter Bunny this year. We didn't dye Easter eggs either. This is the first year my husband didn't get me an Easter basket, too. But in a few days will be our wedding anniversary. April is a very busy month for me. It has my wedding anniversary, my husband's birthday, my son's birthday, and Easter; all in one month! It is exhausting just thinking about it.
Last night my husband and I watched a college basketball game when the kids were sleeping. We watched Duke vs. Michigan during dinner and watched Kentucky vs. Wisconsin when the kids were finally asleep. I was really hoping that Kentucky would have won because I wanted to see them go all the way undefeated. But I guess that didn't happen since Wisconsin won.
Tonight for dinner I am not cooking anything too spectacular. I wish I had planned out a nice meal since it's Easter, but I wasn't thinking about that when I was planning the meals for the weeks. Tomorrow I am making a classic Tuna Casserole with a little twist to it. My husband said it reminds him of the tuna casserole his grandmother used to make.
Last night while we were watching the basketball game I worked on A's project some more. I am now about 30% done. I still have so much to do but I'm confident I'll finish on time for her. I think today I am going to finish folding the laundry and put it away. I'm tired of staring at the laundry basket and feeling lazy about folding it. Most days I wish I could clone myself so I can get so much done.
